Another kit project! This time to learn the limits of “budget” audiophile equipment and get my first taste of DSP (digital signal processing) technology for speakers. The trick here is that instead of using an analog crossover (with messy inductor, capacitors, and analog filters) we can digitally control where each frequency is sent and use a separate channel of amplification for each driver (2 per speaker).
There’s an added bonus of a small 3D printed part used to mount the tweeter driver housing!
